Job description:
Data Engineer/Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and support cloud-based data integration and infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role combines hands-on engineering across Informatica, AWS, and automation tooling with production support in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud and the Self-Service Workbench
Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of cloud environments and related components
Develop and maintain scripts to support data workflows, automation, and system operations
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes within AWS using Terraform, GitLab, Ansible, and Python
Build, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure while supporting production operations and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud and the Self-Service Workbench
Experience setting up and developing Informatica solutions in the cloud
Proficiency in Python and Unix shell scripting
Experience automating AWS infrastructure provisioning, installation, configuration, or management using Terraform, GitLab, Ansible, or Python
Hands-on experience supporting production environments on a 24/7 cycle
Strong communication, time management, and technical presentation skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with Spark, PySpark, AWS Glue, or EMR/Hadoop
Experience creating and using Terraform modules.
