An exceptional client of StaffRight Associates is seeking a Software Engineer II - Market Risk to join a high-impact technology team dedicated to enterprise risk management. In this role, you will take direct ownership of real-time operational hubs, risk monitoring platforms, and margin governance systems to mitigate exposure across global market activities. What You’ll Do

• Architect, design, and maintain event-driven server-side application components.

• Build and refine responsive web interfaces for operational consoles and reporting tools.

• Develop, tune, and optimize complex relational database queries, stored procedures, and schemas to support margin governance and risk reporting.

• Engage across the entire software development lifecycle, driving requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

• Monitor application performance and health proactive to diagnose and resolve production environment issues.

• Contribute actively to peer code reviews, technical architecture documentation, and knowledge transfer across the engineering team.

• Direct feature delivery as an autonomous module owner, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.

• Refactor legacy codebases and integrate software engineering best practices to elevate overall system efficiency and reliability.

• Expand domain knowledge in financial instruments, risk management concepts, and margin calculation engines.

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Annual base salary between $180,000 and $220,000, supplemented by a 30% annual performance-based bonus and company stock grants.
