The Opportunity

An exceptional client of StaffRight Associates is seeking a Software Engineer II - Market Risk to join a high-impact technology team dedicated to enterprise risk management. In this role, you will take direct ownership of real-time operational hubs, risk monitoring platforms, and margin governance systems to mitigate exposure across global market activities. Partnering with StaffRight Associates gives you direct access to this opportunity, where full stack software engineering directly impacts mission-critical financial systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, design, and maintain event-driven server-side application components.

  • Build and refine responsive web interfaces for operational consoles and reporting tools.

  • Develop, tune, and optimize complex relational database queries, stored procedures, and schemas to support margin governance and risk reporting.

  • Engage across the entire software development lifecycle, driving requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

  • Monitor application performance and health proactive to diagnose and resolve production environment issues.

  • Contribute actively to peer code reviews, technical architecture documentation, and knowledge transfer across the engineering team.

  • Direct feature delivery as an autonomous module owner, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.

  • Refactor legacy codebases and integrate software engineering best practices to elevate overall system efficiency and reliability.

  • Expand domain knowledge in financial instruments, risk management concepts, and margin calculation engines.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual base salary between $180,000 and $220,000, supplemented by a 30% annual performance-based bonus and company stock grants.
