The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience implementing security systems to safeguard our nation? Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to utilize cloud capab ilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help support national security.

You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers spe cia lizing in AWS to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS Labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client's problems and partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-based systems architecting
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics ( STEM ) field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, or Management Information Systems and 1+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, or 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect in lieu of a degree
  • Cloud Certifications, including Cloud Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified, Cisco Certified Networking Administrator - Cloud, Cisco Certified Network Professional - Cloud, IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or VMware Certified Professional ( VCP7-CMA ) certifications


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience designing, implementing, and operating in DevSecOps
  • Experience with IC or DoD program or project work
  • Knowledge of object-oriented sof tware with languages such as Java, C++, Python or Ruby in SOA applications prefer red
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics ( STEM ) field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, or Management Information Systems


Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
