The Project Manager will serve as the central coordination point across cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and business teams, driving program execution, managing dependencies, and translating complex security and regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps. This role requires a strong combination of cybersecurity knowledge, risk-based decision-making, program governance, and executive stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and highly organized program leader who can navigate competing priorities, influence stakeholders across the organization, and drive accountability and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the prioritization and sequencing of cybersecurity controls using risk-based criteria, adjusting priorities as organizational risks, resources, and business needs evolve.
  • Serve as the central coordination point across cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and business teams to manage program intake, dependencies, competing priorities, and delivery handoffs.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps, project schedules, RAID logs, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity controls, regulatory requirements, and risk considerations into actionable plans and recommendations for executive leadership and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate executive communications and steering committee meetings, providing program updates, identifying risks and escalations, and presenting options requiring leadership decisions.
  • Establish and maintain program KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure control implementation, adoption, frontline testing results, and remediation progress.
  • Drive remediation activities through completion by monitoring commitments, identifying blockers, escalating issues, and maintaining accountability across workstreams.
  • Partner with Business Systems Analysts and Change Managers to align requirements gathering, validation, communications, and organizational adoption with program delivery.
  • Facilitate governance forums, risk acceptance discussions, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Establish repeatable processes and operating procedures to improve coordination, consistency, and execution across cybersecurity control initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain alignment and ensure successful program outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program management or project management experience leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity transformation programs and organizational change initiatives within large organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise identity modernization, identity and access management (IAM), AI governance, risk management, and secure technology adoption.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, security governance, and enterprise risk management principles.
  • Proven ability to prioritize security risks, manage cross-functional dependencies, and coordinate multiple workstreams.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated program roadmaps, schedules, RAID logs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Experience developing program KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to measure implementation progress, adoption, testing outcomes, and remediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, negotiate competing priorities, and drive accountability across diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering successful enterprise transformation programs within large, complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and related compliance or risk management frameworks.
  • Experience with risk quantification, risk scoring, and control prioritization methodologies.
  • Experience in nonprofit, philanthropic, healthcare, or global-health-related organizations.
