Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Field Technician to provide onsite technical support for end users across multiple locations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of hardware, software, network, and endpoint technologies in both Windows and macOS environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting users in fast-paced business environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and system issues.
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Perform workstation setups, equipment moves, upgrades, and refresh projects.
- Support Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and other business-critical applications.
- Assist with user account administration, password resets, and access-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve printer, scanner, and peripheral device problems.
- Coordinate equipment deployment, inventory management, asset tracking, and hardware lifecycle activities.
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams as needed.
- Travel between customer sites or company locations to provide onsite technical support.
- Educate end users on technology best practices and provide exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, or field service experience.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a field-based environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Experience with endpoint deployment and device imaging tools.
- Dental management software certification or experience with platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications are a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
