RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security IT Business Analyst in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Security IT Business Analyst will create and maintain security documentation (policies, standards, SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, workflows, diagrams)
* Analyze and document current-state security processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Develop future-state process documentation and operational roadmaps
* Support security governance, compliance, and audit readiness through accurate, auditable documentation
* Partner with CISO, IT, agency stakeholders, and external partners to align and standardize security processes
* Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation to communicate security initiatives and progress
* As a Security IT Business Analyst, you will support security training and communications to drive policy adoption and best practices
* Track security initiatives, risks, issues, and decisions to support delivery and accountability
* Participate in security reviews and assessments, document findings and remediation actions
* Gather, analyze, and document requirements for security tools, processes, and initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
* At least 3 years in a business analyst, process analyst, technical writer, security analyst, or similar role
* Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and best practices, including: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF); CIS Controls; ISO/IEC 27001
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
