Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Englewood, CO.
Overview:
The Project Manager - Non-Epic EHR & Third-Party Applications will lead initiatives supporting all non-Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems and integrated third-party applications across the organization. This role partners with IT, clinical, operational, and vendor teams to ensure seamless coordination, data integrity, system interoperability, and regulatory compliance. The Project Manager will oversee projects including system upgrades, integrations, data conversions, archiving, and application lifecycle management while minimizing disruption to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project management activities for all non-Epic EHR systems and related applications
* Serve as the primary point of coordination between non-Epic application teams, Epic teams, clinical stakeholders, and IT leadership
* Manage integrations and data exchanges between Epic and non-Epic systems
* Oversee third-party application projects including implementation, upgrades, conversions, archiving, and decommissioning
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
* Coordinate requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and data mapping across multiple systems
* Partner with vendors and system integrators to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
* Ensure data integrity, validation, and testing throughout project lifecycles
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data retention standards
* Facilitate testing phases including system testing, interface testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and issues
* Support operational readiness, training coordination, and go-live planning
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
* 5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience
* Experience supporting non-Epic EHR platforms and/or ancillary clinical systems
* Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, interfaces, and data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
* Proven experience managing third-party vendors and application partners
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple, concurrent application workstreams
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and patient safety
* Comfortable navigating complex, multi-vendor healthcare environments
* Clear communicator with technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP or equivalent project management certification
* Experience working in hybrid Epic and non-Epic environments
* Familiarity with clinical, revenue cycle, imaging, and specialty systems
* Experience with system integrations, data conversions, or application archiving
* Hospital or large health system experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
