.NET & C# Developer – Prev Optum Experience Required

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET & C# Developer with mandatory prior experience working with Optum / UnitedHealth Group (UHG). The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on developer with a self-starter mindset, capable of building and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core and C#
• Work on enterprise healthcare applications, preferably within Optum/UHG environments
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core and C#
• Mandatory experience with Optum / UnitedHealth Group (UHG) projects or environments
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SDLC
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server / relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership (self-starter)
