Senior Manager of Procurement

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Manager of Procurement in Wilmington, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary interface between Finance, Treasury/Tax, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align priorities and drive collaboration
* Establish and implement standardized procurement processes, controls, and governance across the organization
* Lead end-to-end procurement operations for indirect categories
* Manage and oversee contract lifecycle activities, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and renewals
* Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure procurement activities align with financial and operational objectives
* Partner with Accounts Payable (AP) and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless procure-to-pay operations and accurate financial processing
* Build and centralize contract management practices to improve visibility, compliance, and efficiency
* Ensure adherence to applicable policies, government regulations, and internal controls
* Develop and enforce procurement governance frameworks, including role clarity and approval structures
* Evaluate and optimize procurement workflows across systems, including Oracle and related platforms
* Analyze how procurement activities interact with financial systems and operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Support the implementation of advanced procurement technologies and tools

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related functions, with a strong focus on indirect procurement
* Proven experience building or standing up procurement processes or functions
* Strong contract management and negotiation experience
* Deep understanding of procure-to-pay processes and cross-functional dependencies
* Experience working with ERP systems, including Oracle, and interfacing with Accounts Payable
* Ability to operate effectively across Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement organizations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess end-to-end process impacts
* Experience managing or coordinating indirect spend categories and services procurement
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions
* Experience with procurement technologies, automation, and AI-enabled tools is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
