Sales Operations Analyst Renewal Sales Operations

Overview:

A leading enterprise software organization is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support Renewal Sales Operations with forecasting, analytics, and strategic planning. This role partners closely with VP/AVP-level stakeholders to drive revenue growth, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance operational excellence across global renewal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable insights on business drivers, financial performance, and risks through recurring and ad-hoc analysis
  • Support forecasting cycles, including monthly/quarterly projections and pipeline analysis
  • Assist with annual sales planning (quota setting, compensation planning input, and process support)
  • Develop and refine KPIs to improve sales performance tracking
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Deals Desk, Legal, Order Management, and Sales leadership
  • Identify process improvements and support operational excellence initiatives
  • Provide pricing and deal support recommendations aligned with business policies
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses and reporting for Renewal Sales leadership

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 10+ years in Sales Operations or Renewal/Field Operations within a SaaS environment
  • Strong experience supporting sales leadership up to executive level
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and translate into executive-level insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • SaaS industry experience
  • Familiarity with sales hierarchy and territory mapping
  • Exposure to AI tools or AI-enabled workflow
  • Experience supporting annual planning, quota setting, or compensation design (can be learned on the job)
