Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities
- Assist process engineers in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct tests, collect data, and perform preliminary analysis on process parameters and product performance.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory and production equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including test reports, process specifications, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve process-related issues, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Order and manage inventory of supplies and materials required for process engineering activities.
- Assist in the training of production operators on new processes or equipment.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for process deviations.
Job Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of experience or Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using common hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic lab equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering support role, preferably in an FDA/ISO 13485 regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document procedures and findings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
