Title: Senior Telecommunications Systems Engineer — BICSI/RCDD

About the Role
We are placing four Senior Telecommunications Systems Engineers on long-term contracts supporting very large, complex engineering projects for high-tech industrial and semiconductor clients. You will serve as telecom scope owner, leading design packages from concept through construction documents in coordination with a full multi-discipline team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead telecom scope on large, complex, multi-phase facility projects
• Design from OSP through inter/intra-building backbone distribution, communication rooms, rack elevations, wireless device plans, and cable schedules
• Produce fully coordinated 3D BIM models using AutoCAD, SmartPlant, and Revit MEP
• Prepare and edit design and construction specifications
• Lead start-up and commissioning of telecommunications systems
• Estimate and schedule design efforts for large multi-building, multi-phase projects
• Interface directly with client counterparts throughout the design process
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction
• Knowledge and application of TIA standards and BICSI design practices
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements
• Experience leading a telecommunications design team
• Strong structured cabling design background
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Navisworks
• Experience estimating and scheduling for large multi-building projects
Preferred Qualifications
• RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) — strongly preferred
• BICSI OSP (Outside Plant) or RTPM (Registered Telecom Project Manager) certifications
• Bachelor''s degree in related discipline
• PE license (preferred, not required)
• 4+ years of telecom design in semiconductor industry
• Experience with DAS and emergency responder radio systems
• Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks

• Hybrid schedule — must be located in or willing to commute to Arizona
• No PE license required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship
