Title: Lead Agilist III

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Month to start with

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Agilist to guide and support one or more Agile Squads. This role involves ensuring the team understands and applies Agile and Scrum values and principles, using observation to identify and address squad needs, and promoting the growth of every team member. The Lead Agilist will facilitate discussions, coach the team in self-organization and continuous improvement, and help maintain focus on delivering business value through a servant leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach Agile Squads in self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, risk identification, and conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate Scrum events and activities, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Guide the Product Owner and Development Team in effective Product Backlog management.
  • Assist in removing impediments and shield the team from external interference to ensure productivity.
  • Foster a trusting and safe environment where problems can be discussed and resolved collaboratively.
  • Promote the use of feedback loops, metrics, and other information radiators for continuous improvement.
  • Encourage the adoption of practices that support agility, such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Test-Driven Development.
  • Provide objective guidance and model collaborative, courageous, and open behavior.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation within the squad and with external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 5+ years of full-time business experience.
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Proven ability to remove blockers from a team.
  • Experience with working with Information Security Teams.
  • Experience or exposure to AI being embedded in solutions.


Skills:
  • Solid understanding of the Scrum Framework and principles of agility.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating.
  • Active engagement in the agile communities for continual learning.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal and organizational conflicts.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile certifications are preferred but not necessary if experience is demonstrated.
  • Working knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Scrumban, or XP
