Role Summary
The Product Catalog QA Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring product content across the digital storefront is accurate, polished, and aligned with brand standards. This role is responsible for reviewing and refining product information before it is published, helping maintain a high-quality and consistent customer experience across web and mobile platforms.
In this position, you will work closely with digital merchandising and catalog teams to manage product data, review copy, and ensure that all product attributes, descriptions, and images are accurate and optimized for online presentation. Your work directly supports the integrity of the digital product catalog and contributes to a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance on product catalog content, including proofreading product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and attributes for accuracy and consistency

Review product imagery to ensure correct placement, sequencing, and alignment with product listings

Maintain and update product information within the Product Information Management (PIM) system

Collaborate with digital merchandising and cross-functional teams to manage product data across multiple platforms

Edit and finalize product copy to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to brand voice guidelines

Help maintain and manage a large digital catalog consisting of 30,000+ SKUs

Identify and resolve inconsistencies or data issues within product listings prior to publication

Support additional digital site merchandising and catalog maintenance initiatives as needed
Key Requirements

3+ years of experience in web product copywriting, product content editing, or digital merchandising

Experience creating and editing product titles, bullet points, and product descriptions for e-commerce platforms

Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, preferably experience managing large product catalogs

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Understanding of digital merchandising, retail marketing, and SEO fundamentals

Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and editing skills with strong attention to detail

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field

Experience working with AI tools for product copy generation or editing

A portfolio demonstrating product copywriting or e-commerce content work
