Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to drive product strategy and maximize business value by aligning development efforts with organizational goals. The Product Owner serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the engineering team, translating product vision and business requirements into prioritized, actionable deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Product Backlog, including creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories, features, enhancements, and defect fixes to ensure the team focuses on the highest-value work.
• Define, communicate, and champion the product vision, roadmap, and strategic objectives across stakeholders and development teams.
• Collaborate closely with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand user needs, and ensure product-market fit.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for the development team.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, incorporating user feedback, market insights, and business priorities into product decisions.
• Lead backlog grooming and refinement sessions to ensure work items are well-defined and ready for development.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Provide timely clarification and guidance to development teams regarding requirements, priorities, and business objectives.
• Review and accept completed deliverables, ensuring they meet agreed-upon acceptance criteria, quality standards, and business expectations.
• Monitor product performance, gather stakeholder feedback, and continuously identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions within scope and timelines.
• Track and communicate product progress, risks, dependencies, and priorities to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycle.
• Experience managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
• Experience working closely with software development and QA teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Rally.
• Knowledge of product metrics, user analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile product environments.
