No C2C inquires please.* This leading technology consultancy is architecting a foundational, 1,000+ application migration to AWS. This is a high-stakes, multi-year transformation requiring a PMO Lead who can "build the plane while flying it." We are seeking a subject matter expert to take full ownership of the governance discipline across a massive, multi-vendor environment where precision is non-negotiable.
As the
PMO Governance Lead, you will immediately command the room with a proven blueprint for success. You aren't here to learn; you are here to identify what needs fixing on Day 1 and execute the structural integrity of the program. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, ensuring the migration engine operates with absolute discipline.
Requirements - AWS Migration Pedigree: Must have led PMO/Governance for large-scale (100+ app) migrations specifically to AWS.
- Architectural Authority: Proven track record of building $10M+ PMO structures, RAID processes, and 3-year master plans from scratch.
- Jira Mastery: Expert-level capability in using Jira as the primary anchor for governance, reporting, and workflow control.
- Agile Transformation: Background in shifting fragmented hybrid models into streamlined, disciplined Agile methodologies.
- Executive Presence: A "strong backbone" capable of leading high-stakes meetings and challenging the status quo without a learning curve.
Responsibilities - Governance Architecture: Mature the PMO framework and establish "Partner Governance" to align the client, AWS, and third-party vendors.
- Roadmap & Critical Path: Own the 3-year master program plan, identifying all interdependencies across the 1,000+ app portfolio.
- Systemic Execution: Audit workflows and drive the final implementation of Jira as the single source of truth for migration execution.
- High-Visibility Reporting: Design and deliver executive-level dashboards that provide total transparency to senior leadership.
This is a 3-6 month contract with potential for extension, operating on a strict 8:30 AM ET daily start. The role is remote (U.S. based) but requires a candidate comfortable with occasional travel for accelerated in-person working sessions.
