Job Title: HCL Domino Administrator (SME)
Location: Jackson, MS (Remote Available)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
On-Call: Yes (occasional evenings/weekends for production support)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced HCL Domino Administrator (SME) to support an enterprise environment undergoing a Domino and Notes platform upgrade. This role will focus on administration, modernization, and upgrade of production and development servers within a Windows Server environment.
The ideal candidate will lead the upgrade of Domino servers from version 12 to 14.x, implement Domino Leap and Domino Nomad, convert legacy applications, and integrate systems with IBM DB2 databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support HCL Domino Server and HCL Notes environments
- Upgrade Domino servers from v12 to v14.x
- Implement and configure Domino Leap and Domino Nomad
- Modernize and convert existing Domino applications
- Integrate applications with IBM DB2 databases
- Perform patching, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Support production systems with minimal disruption
- Coordinate scheduled off-hours upgrades and maintenance
- Develop documentation and provide knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems/Network Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of Domino administration and Notes support, including upgrades and patching
- 5+ years of Windows Server and network infrastructure experience
- 5+ years of DB2/ODBC experience
- 5+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
