Job Overview
.You'll build and maintain scalable microservices applications using modern Java technologies in an AWS cloud environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical financial systems with a focus on performance, security, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven services in AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services, optimize performance, and ensure high availability.
Write clean, testable code with unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues, implement monitoring (CloudWatch), and adhere to financial industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
Mentor junior developers and contribute to agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
9+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+ (Java 11/17 preferred).
Strong proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building enterprise applications.
Proven expertise in Microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
3+ years with AWS services (e.g., EC2, SQS, SNS, API Gateway).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA).
Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle), Git, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Preferred Skills
Financial services domain knowledge (e.g., payments, trading platforms).
Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for messaging.
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and observability (Prometheus, ELK).
Agile/Scrum experience in a fast-paced environment.
