Looking for a seasoned Senior Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our litigation team, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and ensuring legal compliance.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, redlining/blacklining using Litera, and reviewing a variety of legal documents related to complex business disputes, antitrust law, and federal regulatory matters.
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Ensuring legal compliance in all activities, including ACH transactions, and transactional matters.
  • Utilizing Kofax, NETdocs, and Litera to manage, organize, and track all case-related documents.
  • Preparing monthly billing statements and managing client accounts.
  • Reviewing and summarizing legal documents, including depositions, discovery documents, and court records.
  • Collaborating with attorneys and other legal staff to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Performing administrative duties as needed, including scheduling, maintaining attorney calendars, and handling correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably in litigation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and legal research tools.
  • Extensive experience with legal document preparation and review.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal compliance, antitrust law, complex business disputes, and federal regulatory matters.
  • Familiarity with ACH transactions and transactional matters.
  • Experience using Kofax, NETdocs, and Litera for document management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
