Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pega Architect to lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade BPM and Case Management solutions for our Client The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pega PRPC, healthcare domain knowledge, and experience designing scalable, high-performance solutions in regulated environments.

This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on technical expertise in Pega 8.x platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture and design of Pega-based enterprise solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Define best practices, guardrails, and governance for Pega development.
Design reusable components, frameworks, and integration strategies.
Architect integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, MQ, etc.).
Provide technical leadership to development teams and conduct code reviews.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS guidelines).
Optimize performance, scalability, and security of Pega applications.
Support DevOps, CI/CD pipeline integration, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).

Required Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Pega PRPC.
Strong experience in Pega 8.x architecture and design.
Pega CSSA/LSA certification preferred.
Experience in Case Management, Workflows, Decisioning, and Integration Services.
Strong knowledge of:

Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)
Pega Customer Service / Pega Smart Dispute / Healthcare frameworks
REST/SOAP integrations
SQL & database design

Experience working in healthcare or health insurance domain.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with healthcare payer systems.
Knowledge of Claims, Enrollment, Provider, or Member management systems.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
DevOps experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
Agile/Scrum experience.
