We are currently seeking highly motivated candidates to fill a new Contract-to-Perm role titled Junior Data Analyst, which will be based out of our client s office in Nashville, TN. This is a hands-on development role and is ideal for an individual looking to take the next step in their career. Initially, on-site work will be required during training, however, a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in-house will be assigned when ready.

Position Summary
The Data Analyst supports the Customer Experience: Data-Driven Management (CX: DDM), Process Design & Development Team by designing and building data solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions. The analyst will develop and maintain data tables in Snowflake using SAP data, create and enhance Power BI dashboards, and provide reporting and analytics support for both the CX: DDM team and the New York DDM team. In addition, the role will routinely involve using Python to develop ETL pipelines that support Machine Learning/AI initiatives, as well as to build dashboards or lightweight operational applications within Snowflake to meet business and operational needs.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data used in analyses, performing routine data maintenance, and assisting in the monitoring process and report distribution. The analyst will also design, test, and optimize SQL queries, conduct performance analysis, and support data modeling and database application design. Python will also be used to automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting tasks as part of regular workflow responsibilities. Work includes collaborating on database administration for both on-premises solutions and Azure PaaS cloud-based environments, as well as contributing to debugging, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning and implementation. This position reports to the Assistant Director, CX: DDM, Process Design & Development Team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data tables in Snowflake using SAP and other enterprise data sources
Develop data strategies that define how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across systems and applications
Design and implement new architecture, data models, systems, processes, and procedures using advanced programming and scripting methodologies
Create, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards that are effective, easy to understand, and tailored to business needs
Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and other deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
Support the CX: DDM team in Nashville and New York with data analysis and reporting requests
Cleanse, validate, and transform large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity
Summarize and compare data to control totals to confirm accuracy and completeness
Run and assure the integrity of scripted analytical procedures using ACL Analytics, ACL Direct Link, and other tools
Implement data security measures including data masking, de-identification, and encryption methodologies to establish appropriate access control
Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns or trends in complex data sets to support operational efficiencies and business solutions
Conduct research on variance items uncovered by analytics using ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Concur) and other approved sources
Create new analytics under management s direction as business needs arise
Assist in the creation of new TSC metrics, datasheet initiatives, and monitoring processes
Collaborate on database administration for on-premises and Azure PaaS solutions
Plan, design, and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) solutions based on workload requirements
Perform performance analysis, query tuning, and debugging of SQL code and data pipelines
Develop Python scripts to automate ETL workflows, support data preparation for Machine Learning and AI, and build dashboards or operational tools for business users, potentially leveraging LLMs
Partner with management to establish and maintain data management standards and best practices
Provide analytics as a service by querying ERP and other systems, publishing data in accessible formats and locations
Perform other duties as assigned to support the objectives of the CX: DDM, Process Design & Development Team
Required Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
Knowledge Areas:
Strong knowledge of data organization, analysis, Machine Learning/AI and reporting techniques
Understanding of standard business processes
Familiarity with corporate data governance and reporting practices
Technical / Communication Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills required
Proficiency in Power BI (dashboard design, DAX, Power Query)
Proficiency in SQL for querying and creating data tables (Snowflake experience preferred)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivots, macros)
General knowledge of SAP data structures; experience in extracting and working with SAP data
Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, global business environment
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
Minimum one (1) year of practical experience in Python and SQL required
Experience with Power BI development preferred
Experience with SQL and data modeling required (Snowflake preferred)
Experience working with SAP data preferred but not required
