Role: Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL/ELT development, cloud platforms, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.

  • Build and maintain scalable data architectures, data lakes, and data warehouses.

  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Develop complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.

  • Implement data integration and transformation solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.

  • Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and troubleshoot complex data issues.

Required Skills

  • 11+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and data integration.

  • Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform data services.

  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data platforms.

  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

  • Knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, orchestration tools, and CI/CD is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud migration solutions.

  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and performance optimization.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
