Lead Microsoft 365 & Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lead Analyst to oversee and enhance their Active Directory, Azure, O365, and messaging infrastructures. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, integrated services that align with business goals. The Lead Analyst will spearhead architectural projects within Microsoft 365, apply their expertise in hybrid environments, and mentor team members to elevate their technical skills, ensuring that the team meets the evolving demands of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable architecture for Exchange, ensuring optimal performance and security for users.

• Manage Active Directory services and oversee comprehensive security audits to enhance system integrity.

• Architect Microsoft 365 services, including Teams and SharePoint, to support collaborative and productive remote work environments.

• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices to mitigate risks.

• Provide escalated support for technical issues faced by team members and stakeholders to ensure rapid resolution.

• Document system configurations and maintain standard operating procedures to improve team efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• 5+ years of extensive experience with Active Directory, Azure, O365, PKI, DNS and GPO administration.

• Proven experience with Exchange Server (2013–2019) and Exchange Online administration and architecture; experience must include migration strategies.

• Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Entra ID, and Power Platform for workflow automation and management.

• Strong background in PowerShell scripting and automation practices within cloud environments to streamline operations.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
