Summary

Position: IT Portfolio Program Manager
Duration: 12+ months – contract
Location: Avon Lake, OH (onsite)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

SKILLS NEEDED : portfolio governance demand management and capacity planning, risk and change management

 

IT Portfolio Management

·       Govern the end-to-end IT initiative pipeline ensuring alignment with organizational strategy funding models and business priorities

·       Drive intake evaluation prioritization and approval of initiatives using standardized portfolio governance frameworks

·       Optimize demand vs capacity planning across programs projects and shared services

 

IT Project Program Management

·       Lead planning execution and delivery of complex IT programs and multi project initiatives

·       Ensure delivery within approved scope schedule budget and quality targets

·       Establish delivery standards stage gates and governance reviews

 

Risk Issue Management

·       Identify assess and track delivery risks issues dependencies and assumptions

·       Proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans escalate critical risks as required

·       Ensure adherence to enterprise risk and compliance standards

 

Change Management

·       Lead change impact assessments for IT initiatives affecting business users and operations

·       Ensure training communication and adoption activities are embedded within delivery plans

·       Partner with business stakeholders to minimize resistance and drive sustained adoption

 

Portfolio Reporting Governance

·       Deliver executive level portfolio dashboards covering financials milestones risks dependencies and benefits realization

·       Standardize reporting templates and cadence for leadership and governance forums

·       Enable data driven decision-making through accurate timely and repeatable reporting

 

Must Haves

1.      Experience in managing large complex IT portfolios with multiple concurrent programs and stakeholders

2.      Strong understanding of portfolio governance demand management and capacity planning

3.      10 years of experience in IT Project Program or Portfolio Management within enterprise environments

4.      Strong experience in producing executive level reporting and dashboards
