Pay Rate:$25.00 per hour (W2 ONLY)
This role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered / HOURS: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m
A growing IT Managed Services company is seeking to hire a IT Help Desk Technician, they are responsible for the following:
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide Help Desk (80%) and Desktop (20%) picking up desktops to work on remotely
Work with service desk manager to troubleshoot client network issues or help desk requests through ticketing system.
Assist clients with network, stand alone PC/Mac hardware and software issues.
Assist support monitor in reviewing alerts generated by monitoring systems.
Assist with any client network projects, including, new location setups, onboarding of new client networks.
Work on weekly internal projects assigned for improvement of client systems or internal procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have a valid drivers licences, able to travel to various clients sites (20%) in Orange County (client network projects, including, new location setups, onboarding of new client networks).
3+ years of experience providing Level I Help Desk support, including troubleshooting client network issues or help desk requests through ticketing system.
Experience troubleshooting network, stand alone PC/Mac hardware and software issues.
Experience installing, maintaining MS Office suite; Word, Excel, & Outlook, etc.
Experience configuring email accounts using Outlook and Office365 or comparable service.
In depth knowledge and usage of Windows operating systems (windows 7, 8, 8.1,10).
Experience with Microsoft servers, workstations, general to networking knowledge.
Experience working with any Antivirus programs
MUST be willing to convert to a full-time employee after 5 months
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
DESIRED:
Experience with Microsoft servers, workstations, general to advanced networking knowledge.
A+ Certified or has any Microsoft Certifications: (MCSE, MSDBA, MSCSA, CCENT, CCNA, Security+, Network+)
Worked for a small MSP
