Full Job Description

Client is seeking a trained and certified ServiceNow professional with experience across the following modules: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Virtual Agent, and Performance Analytics (PA). All work will be performed within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires daily engagement in ServiceNow, supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of applications and modules, while managing customer incidents and service requests in alignment with business and operational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and Applications.
  • Deliver a high level of knowledge and customer service within the ITSM Suite.
  • Explain the offerings available with ServiceNow ITSM Suite.
  • Ability to architect, develop and potentially redesign legacy solutions into modern ServiceNow automations is a plus
  • Workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations
  • Apply Agile software development practices for customizations to the platform and applications
  • Organizing and prioritizing development effort, interfacing with vendors and management, and potentially coordinating effort of additional administrators
  • Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
  • Effectively manage and execute high level tasks assigned via 'System Enhancements'
  • Manages work against an demanding timeline
  • Communicates professionally and effectively, through verbal and non-verbal methods with business professionals and clients daily
  • Flexible and has the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Deliver training on ServiceNow administrative tasks and responsibilities when applicable

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including navigation, administration, configuration, and advanced scripting
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with a strong background in software development and/or IT Service Management
  • Hands-on experience across key ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Virtual Agent, and Performance Analytics (PA)
  • Experience with ITOM capabilities such as Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration
  • Proficiency with workflow and automation tools, including Workflow Editor, Workflow Studio, and Flow Designer
  • Experience configuring and supporting ServiceNow portals, integrations, and API-based solutions leveraging secure integration technologies
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies, including SSO, LDAP, REST/SOAP web services, OAuth, and ServiceNow development APIs
  • Experience designing and implementing process automation, workflow configuration, and reporting solutions
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues within the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience developing custom applications and services within ServiceNow
  • Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management best practices
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions against defined requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote or distributed environment
  • Proficiency in web technologies including JavaScript, XML, HTML, and related development frameworks
  • Professional working proficiency in English
