Avanciers are looking for a skilled QA Test Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, NJ. This is a full onsite, contract-to-hire role.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on skills in Java, Selenium, and API testing. You will work across APIs, web applications, and event-driven systems, ensuring high-quality delivery within a financial domain environment.

Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing for APIs and web-based applications.
Review and interpret requirements, technical specifications, and architecture diagrams.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests for Java applications.
Validate system behavior for compliance with security, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare detailed test cases, documentation, and defect reports.
Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Java, Selenium, and API testing.
Hands-on with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
Experience testing event-driven or distributed systems (preferred).
Solid understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and CI/CD environments.
