Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, integration development, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable integration solutions across cloud and on-premise systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in software development and enterprise integration.
• 7+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Exchange.
• Strong knowledge of Mule 4.x, DataWeave 2.0, MUnit, and MuleSoft connectors.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and API-led connectivity.
• Strong understanding of System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Experience with API management, security, policies, authentication, and authorization.
• Hands-on experience with DataWeave, XML, JSON, CSV, and other data formats.
• Experience integrating applications using HTTP, REST, SOAP, JMS, SFTP, Database, Salesforce, and messaging protocols.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, error handling, exception management, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience developing automated unit and integration tests using MUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub/GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based integration and distributed systems.
• Experience troubleshooting production integration issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• MuleSoft Certified Developer certification.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with API gateways and enterprise security standards.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Develop reusable APIs and integration services using Mule 4.x and DataWeave.
• Implement API-led connectivity across enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Configure API policies, security, authentication, and authorization.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production validation.
• Develop MUnit test cases and maintain high-quality code coverage.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams on integration architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Support CI/CD deployment pipelines and release activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create technical design documents, API specifications, and integration documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
