Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior System Analyst to join a high-impact team supporting annuity new business and internal processing systems. This role blends hands-on development, solution design, and mentorship. It is ideal for a mid-to-senior level technologist who can stabilize and advance a legacy-heavy environment while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable solutions across multiple applications and integrations.
- Write and maintain clean, efficient code, primarily within a .NET and SQL Server environment.
- Support and enhance highly distributed systems across the enterprise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web-based applications, backend services, APIs, and SQL databases.
- Partner with Solution Architects and System Architects to execute on defined architectural patterns.
- Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to gather feedback and refine solutions.
- Review and approve pull requests, mentoring junior developers and System Analysts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in full-stack or backend-focused development with .NET and SQL.
- Ability to design and implement technical solutions in complex environments.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
- Communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to mentor or guide junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the insurance, annuities, or broader financial services industry.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks and containerization tools (React, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to emerging cloud-native technologies and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.

The team actively invests in AI tools and productivity platforms such as Enterprise ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
