Application Programmer III

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Programmer to develop, enhance, and maintain applications within Financial Crimes technology. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting programs while collaborating with business partners to define system requirements. The position requires providing data-driven insights, assessing technological impacts, and participating in the full development lifecycle to deliver new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex requirements for new and existing applications.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software programs and support activities.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define application requirements.
  • Contribute to story refinement and estimate work for delivery.


* Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. * Handle technical aspects of the application, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades. * Analyze present-state systems and develop alternative future-state approaches. * Communicate deliverables and timelines to managers, peers, and business partners. * Adhere to Agile practices and ensure all enterprise change standards are met.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline is required.

Experience: This position requires approximately 10 or more years of applicable experience in application development and support.

Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in web application development using ReactJS and Java Spring.
  • Programming skills in building multi-tier applications with Spring Boot 5.x.
  • Experience with RESTful Web services.
  • Knowledge of Spring core, including Dependency Injection, Annotations, and Configurations.
  • Familiarity with Java Spring JPA, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, and Node.js.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, and Redux.
  • Proficiency with web containers such as Tomcat 9.0+ and JBoss.
  • Experience with Oracle 19c and strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with Maven 3.0, Unix shell scripting, and Autosys or other scheduling tools.
  • Working experience with SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible).
