Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GoLang development, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms (AWS & Alibaba Cloud). The ideal candidate will design, develop, automate, and manage cloud-native platforms and infrastructure, leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, Helm, and CI/CD best practices.

This role requires hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs, developing cloud automation solutions, managing Kubernetes clusters, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

GoLang Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services using GoLang.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Develop automation tools and utilities using Go.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.

Cloud Platform Engineering

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions across AWS and Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud).
• Develop cloud automation solutions for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Optimize cloud resources for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement secure cloud networking and infrastructure services.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and manage infrastructure using:
  • Terraform
  • Pulumi
  • Crossplane
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
• Maintain infrastructure versioning and governance.

Kubernetes Administration

• Deploy, configure, and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Create and maintain:
  • Helm Charts
  • Kustomize configurations
• Manage namespaces, RBAC, policies, secrets, and security.
• Monitor cluster health and optimize workloads.

Kubernetes Networking

• Configure and manage:
  • Cilium
  • NGINX Ingress
  • Envoy
  • AWS ALB/NLB
  • Certificate Manager
• Implement secure ingress, service mesh, and networking policies.
• Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.

Automation & DevOps

• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
• Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement RBAC and Kubernetes security policies.
• Configure OPA (Open Policy Agent) policies and admission webhooks.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security and governance standards.
• Manage secrets and certificates securely.

AI-Assisted Development

• Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve development productivity.
• Apply AI-assisted code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Promote AI-enabled engineering best practices within the team.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Developers, Architects, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of software engineering or DevOps experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in GoLang development.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Pulumi, and Crossplane.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes networking.
• Strong scripting knowledge using YAML and JSON.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux)
• Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and observability tools
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT
