Apex Systems is currently hiring for a
DoD/SATCOM Program Manager (PERM PLACEMENT) with one of our top technology and engineering focused clients.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
Project Details / Mission Supported:
This project is seeking a
Program Manager to lead the development and verification of complex multi-faceted satellite ground resource management, communication, and control projects and programs.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
Program/project management for Satellite Ground Systems
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or other technical discipline
Minimum of 10 or more years of project or program management experience executing technical development programs leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, conducting multiple development efforts simultaneously
Demonstrated proficiency with managing programmatic attributes such as EVMS, IMS, Risk and Risk reduction efforts, and customer and subcontractor relations and negotiations
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Travel Requirement: up to 25% (Domestic & International)
Onsite expectation: Starts onsite and then moves to hybrid schedule
Clearance Level: Secret Clearance level
Salary/Pay range: $185-250K, DOE
Preferred Skills and Experience- Experience working on US Government Projects, specifically with the US Space Force ground systems
- Experience working with software-based radios/modems running in VNFs
- Experience working with RF communication equipment
- Experience working in Satellite communications
- Experience working projects utilizing cloud and on-premise implementations
- Experience with Atlassian tools
- RF / Optical Antenna site construction and installations
