Job Title: AWS Data Architect

Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long term contract on C2C/ W2

Note: No H1B’s

Required Skills & Qualifications
•            8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platforms
•            3+ years of hands on experience with AWS cloud services
•            Strong expertise in:
o            Data warehousing and data lake architectures
o            Distributed systems and big data technologies
•            Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
•            Strong knowledge of security, IAM, networking, and compliance in AWS

Required Skills & Qualifications
•            Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
•            8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platforms
•            3+ years of hands on experience with AWS cloud services
•            Strong expertise in:
o            Data warehousing and data lake architectures
o            SQL and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
o            ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration
•            Solid understanding of:
o            Distributed systems and big data technologies
o            Streaming and real time data processing
•            Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
•            Strong knowledge of security, IAM, networking, and compliance in AWS
•            Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills
•            Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka
•            Exposure to AWS Lake Formation, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi
•            Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and lineage tools
•            Experience supporting AI/ML workloads on AWS (SageMaker)
•            Prior experience in regulated industries (Banking, Healthcare, Telecom, Retail)

AWS Certifications (Preferred)
•            AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
•            AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
•            AWS Certified Database – Specialty
