  • Track and maintain accurate inventory of all network-connected devices, including user assignments, device health, age, software versioning, lease agreements, and service contracts.
  • Procure and administer hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and mobile devices while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop applications, Microsoft Office, and corporate software in networked environments.
  • Assist with mobile device management (iOS and Android) and company-required applications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for service desk communications, monitoring and following up on tickets handled internally or by managed service providers.
  • Support small to large user deployments, including new acquisitions, hardware rollouts, software upgrades, and user account setup.
  • Document processes, maintain asset records, and contribute to continuous improvement of desktop support and asset management practices.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and improve end-user experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None (individual contributor role with occasional guidance to junior IT staff or end users).

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on desktop support, IT asset management, or technical support experience in a corporate or multi-site environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Primarily office-based with occasional travel for site support or deployments; ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
  • Work Environment/Safety: Professional office setting with hybrid options; adherence to corporate safety standards.

Required Skills

  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and basic networking support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Group Policy, and mobile device management tools.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and adaptability to changing demands.
