This is a predominantly hands-on technical leadership position — 70% technical and 30% people management. Ideal for someone who wants to stay deeply technical while also managing a 5 to 6 person team
About the Role
The Manager, Infrastructure & Workplace Technology will own and drive the reliability, performance, and evolution of the company's infrastructure, network, and end-user computing environment. You will lead and mentor technical resources while remaining actively engaged in technical decision-making, escalations, and platform ownership — with a strong emphasis on the Microsoft ecosystem.

- Ensure availability, performance, and resilience across all infrastructure services
- Serve as technical escalation point and key decision-maker
- Manage vendors, MSPs, and service providers
Workplace & End-User Technology
- Own the end-user computing experience: endpoint devices (Windows, mobile), Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and endpoint management via Intune
- Partner with Service Desk to drive root cause analysis and reduce recurring issues
Microsoft Platform & Cloud
- Serve as technical owner for Microsoft platforms: Entra ID / Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure infrastructure
- Define standards, architecture patterns, and operational best practices
- Evaluate and integrate tools that enhance endpoint, identity, and infrastructure visibility
Leadership & People Management
- In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure, network, and end-user computing professionals.
- You will set clear expectations, drive accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and strong documentation practices.
- You will also serve as a key partner to Security, Applications, and Business stakeholders — ensuring technology outcomes are aligned with broader business goals.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, network, or end-user computing roles
- 3+ years in a technical leadership and people management capacity
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft enterprise platforms
