Neos is Seeking a Salesforce Developer for a contract role for with our client in Austin, TX.

Hybrid role -must be in the office 2 to 3 times per week onsite at 111 East 17th St. Austin, TX 78774

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Candidate will serve as a Salesforce Developer supporting CPA's modernization efforts across Legislative Bill Tracking, Fiscal Note Generation, internal legislative/subpoena/contract workflows, and AI assisted analysis platforms.

The Candidate will develop and maintain Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio components, and integrations using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and DocuSign. The role also includes Agentforce (Einstein) implementation, including prompt orchestration, AI pipeline enablement, and secure generative AI usage for fiscal summaries and legislative intelligence.

The Candidate must collaborate within Agile Scrum teams, follow CPA standards, support secure deployment practices through Copado, ensure compliance with Government Cloud requirements, and deliver high quality enterprise Salesforce code.

CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced developer tasks such as:

  • Able to analyze and interpret technical information, including industry standards, statutes, administrative rules, procedures, and system documentation; to translate user/business needs into a technical style; to communicate technical instructions to system users; to analyze, evaluate, and integrate business rules into system requirements; to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions; and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Comprehends Salesforce on gov or data cloud along with omni studio and public sector solutions (PSS)
  • Participate in research to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities
  • Design and build Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex services, and API integrations; partner with Salesforce Administrators to support declarative configuration as needed.
  • Enable and administer Agentforce/EIN features (prompt templates, model configs, content guardrails, audit trails) for bill/fiscal note summarization and SME worklists.
  • Coordinate integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, DocuSign) and data feeds to external systems (e.g., TLO/Telicon, SharePoint/REVS), ensuring security classifications, retention, and auditability.
  • Support Salesforce Data Cloud use cases (ingestion, identity resolution, segment activation) with governance and documentation.
  • Support Admin team with technical components used in dashboards when needed.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies regularly attend sprint ceremonies and collaborates with the development team(s)
  • Participating in all phases of SDLC, including release planning, analysis & design, provide technical input to story refinement and sizing and software development.
  • Performs unit testing of the user stories developed.
  • Collaborates with the team to Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.


CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8 years Required Experience with application development as an agile/scrum team member and acceptance criteria-based user stories

8 years Required Experience with customer focused user experience design

6 years Required Experience with multiple full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.

6 years Required Strong communication/documentation skills

6 years Required Experience in Salesforce OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)

6 years Required Experience in developing software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs Integration (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, DocuSign) with shared services teams

6 years Required Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and supporting UAT

4 years Required Experience supporting large enterprise or multi org Salesforce environments

4 years Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements

3 years Required Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Project, Visio and common collaboration products such as Microsoft Teams & SharePoint

3 years Required Experience with Copado DevOps pipelines

3 years Required Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ingestion, identity resolution)

2 years Required Experience contributing to technical estimation, code review, and sprint planning decisions.

2 years Required Salesforce Platform Developer I

2 years Required Experience enabling Agentforce/EIN (prompt orchestration, guardrails, auditability)

4 years Preferred Experience with LWC UI/UX design including 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility

3 years Preferred Experience working with enterprise architectural design & patterns

3 years Preferred Experience in establishing, documenting, and communicating standards, best practices, fixes, and providing system direction & recommendation

3 years Preferred Experience in working and communicating effectively across multiple technical groups (including working with subject-matter-experts and other business resources).

3 years Preferred Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence for backlog management and documentation

2 years Preferred Experience with Information Security Office Compliance

2 years Preferred Experience working across multiple technical and business teams & public sector exp

1 year Preferred Telicon/TLO coordination experience

1 year Preferred Experience with Service Now or ITSM ticketing and workflow automation platforms

1 year Preferred Following Salesforce Certifications: OmniStudio Developer, Data Cloud Consultant, Einstein/Agentforce Specialist & Administrator
