We are growing and looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer who thrives in dynamic, client-facing technical delivery.
Role Summary
The Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer will serve as the primary hands-on technical resource for end-to-end migrations to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. While email migration is a core component, this role covers the full suite of M365 services, including Teams and SharePoint Online.
You will lead transitions from diverse source environments—including On-Premises Exchange (2010–2019/SBS), Tenant-to-Tenant (M365), Google Workspace (GWS), and File Servers/Hosted SharePoint—ensuring a seamless transition of mail, collaboration data, and document repositories.

Core Responsibilities
Full-Stack M365 Migration Delivery
Messaging: Execute migrations from Exchange (2010–2019/SBS), Google Workspace, and Hosted Exchange to M365. Manage Hybrid (HCW) setups, Public Folder transitions, and large mailbox archiving strategies.
SharePoint & OneDrive: Lead the migration of legacy file shares (NTFS) and on-premises SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business using SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) or ShareGate.
Microsoft Teams: Design and execute Teams migrations (Tenant-to-Tenant), including Channels, Chats, Tabs, and associated SharePoint site structures.
Tenant-to-Tenant: Handle complex M365-to-M365 migrations involving domain moves, identity re-mapping, and cross-tenant data synchronization.
Tooling: Proficiency in Quest Migrator, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, and native Microsoft migration engines.
Email Security & Identity Integration
Configure Microsoft Entra Connect for hybrid identity synchronization.
Reconfigure and validate Mimecast, Proofpoint, or Barracuda gateways, ensuring inbound/outbound mail routing and security policies remain intact post-migration.
Identify and remediate SMTP relay dependencies for printers, scanners, and LOB applications.
Pre-Assessment & Documentation
Run discovery scripts to produce inventory reports for mailboxes, SharePoint site structures, and Teams configurations.
Author "As-Built" documentation, DNS cutover runbooks, and project closeout packages.
Support pre-sales by scoping Statements of Work (SOWs) and participating in technical discovery calls.
