Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with experience working with revenue, billing, and accounting data. This role will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, developing reports and dashboards, supporting revenue reporting processes, and providing insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, experience with financial data, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful business insights for Revenue Operations, Finance, Accounting, and executive leadership teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
•Analyze revenue, billing, collections, and accounting data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
•Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and KPIs for Revenue, Finance, and Accounting teams.
•Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
•Deliver ad hoc analyses to support business and financial decision-making.
 
Revenue & Accounting Support•
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
•Assist with revenue forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
•Analyze revenue performance and key financial drivers.
•Support reconciliations between operational systems and accounting records.
•Collaborate with Accounting teams during month-end and year-end close activities.
 
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development•
Create and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
•Develop self-service reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
•Monitor and report on revenue-related metrics and performance indicators.
 
Data Quality & Process Improvement
•Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
•Document business rules, data definitions, and reporting processes.
•Recommend automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
•Partner with technical teams to improve data collection, integration, and governance.
 
Stakeholder Collaboration
•Work closely with Revenue Operations, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Business leaders.
•Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
•Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 
Required Qualifications
Education
•Bachelor''s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
•12+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, or revenue operations.
•Experience working with revenue, billing, accounting, or financial data.
•Experience supporting financial reporting and operational performance analysis.
Technical Skills
•Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
•Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
•Understanding of data modeling and reporting best practices.
•Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial systems.
 
Financial Knowledge
•Understanding of Revenue reporting, General Ledger concepts 
o Financial reconciliations Budgeting and forecasting
 
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in Revenue Operations, Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
•Knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
•Experience working with data warehouses and cloud platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, or AWS.
•Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytical tools.
