Project Manager III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Project Manager III.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven and assertive Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment. This role requires strong core project management fundamentals, the ability to coordinate across diverse teams, and enough technical acumen to effectively connect workstreams and drive execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable holding teams accountable to timelines and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage 3-4 concurrent projects across cross-functional teams
* Drive project execution within an Agile framework (2-week sprints, backlog tracking, sprint follow-ups)
* Proactively track progress, identify risks, and address delays, ensuring timely delivery
* Facilitate regular status reporting, updates, and stakeholder communications
* Act as the central point of coordination across teams, ensuring alignment and accountability
* Monitor sprint deliverables and follow up on spillover work to understand root causes and maintain momentum
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure priorities are clear and work is progressing as expected
* Provide visibility into project health through structured reporting and communication

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven ability to drive projects forward independently without requiring constant direction
* Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery models
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams simultaneously
* High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability
* Ability to understand how systems connect and engage the appropriate teams (no deep engineering required, but must -connect the dots-)

Strong foundation in Project Management fundamentals, including:
* Status reporting
* Project planning and scheduling
* Risk and issue management
* Stakeholder communication

Familiarity with modern data and cloud ecosystems, including:
* AWS (general awareness)
* Redshift (data warehouse)
* Kafka (streaming platform)
* EKS (Kubernetes-based deployments)
* Python (basic understanding)
* Exposure to AI/ML concepts or AI-driven projects

Tools & Technologies:
* Jira (project tracking, sprint management)
* Confluence or similar documentation tools
* Microsoft Office Suite

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
