SAP ABAP IS-U / S/4HANA with BTP & Fiori Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP IS-U / S/4HANA Technical Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, IS-U, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Fiori/UI5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, enhancing, and supporting enterprise SAP solutions while following S/4HANA, Clean Core, and modern extensibility practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO.

• Provide hands-on technical development and enhancements within SAP IS-U.

• Develop and implement solutions on SAP S/4HANA using modern ABAP development practices.

• Design and develop CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and HANA database procedures.

• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori Elements applications.

• Utilize SAP BTP services for application development, integration, and SAP extensions.

• Develop applications using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and ABAP Cloud where applicable.

• Perform S/4HANA custom code remediation, adaptation, optimization, and modernization.

• Develop and support integrations using APIs, OData, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, REST, and web services.

• Participate in technical design, development, unit testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and production issues across ABAP, S/4HANA, IS-U, Fiori, and BTP environments.

• Follow SAP Clean Core, extensibility, upgrade-safe development, and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, integration teams, architects, and other technical teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO.

• Strong technical development experience in SAP IS-U.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and HANA SQL.

• Experience developing applications using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori Elements.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP.

• Knowledge of RAP and ABAP Cloud.

• Strong experience with SAP integrations, including BAPI, BAdI, IDoc, RFC, REST APIs, and OData.

• Strong understanding of HANA code pushdown and performance optimization.

• Experience with S/4HANA migration and custom code adaptation.

• Good understanding of SAP Clean Core and modern SAP extensibility principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certification preferred.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise SAP environments.

• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience Required

• 15+ years of SAP ABAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP IS-U and S/4HANA.

• Candidates with significant experience in SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, RAP, CDS Views, and modern S/4HANA development will be highly preferred.
