Job Summary

A skilled Core L1 Associate (Migration Specialist) is a client-focused professional to support Client migration initiatives. The role involves understanding complex program structures, operational workflows, and migration impacts between current and future-state processing platforms. The candidate will coordinate with clients, operations, technology, and implementation teams to ensure smooth migration execution with minimal disruption. Responsibilities include tracking migration activities, managing timelines, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting issue resolution, and communicating program changes to stakeholders and clients. The role also requires handling client-specific materials while ensuring PII security compliance. Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand complex Commercial Card program structures, configurations, processing workflows, and operational dependencies.
  • Understand current-state client program setups and impacts resulting from migration to the future-state enhanced processing platform.
  • Clearly explain operational, technical, and process changes between current-state and future-state environments to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Serve as a key point of contact throughout the migration process, providing clear and professional communication regarding program impacts and changes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners, stakeholders, operations teams, technology teams, and implementation teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
  • Ability to assemble and share client-specific materials ensuring client personally identifiable information (PII) is not at risk nor compromised.
  • Track and manage multiple client migration activities, deliverables and timelines simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Support issue resolution by coordinating with internal teams and providing timely updates to key stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to current-state assessments, future-state impacts, migration activities, and client communications.
  • Participate in post-migration support activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, analyze, and comprehend complex processes, systems, and program configurations.
  • Ability to understand current-state environments and effectively communicate impacts and changes associated with future-state implementations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to quickly learn new systems, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Commercial Card programs, payment processing, treasury services, or financial services operations.
  • Experience supporting system migrations, implementations, platform conversions, or transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Card products, client program structures, and payment processing environments is a plus.
