Summary

Home PD EPM drives the development, validation, and assembly of mechanical components for new Home products, typically from architecture definition to mass production. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with program management skills and leadership level exposure.

Manage the planning and execution of product prototype builds, leading cross-functional teams and external vendors to meet design goals, schedules, and quality requirements. You'll understand the complexities of product design integration and processes, collaborate with teams to facilitate feedback through the internal design review process. Maintain good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management.

BS degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred \n3+ years of experience in program management or mechanical engineering design in product development \nExcellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills

Strong technical background in EE or ME. Masters in Engineering is a plus. \nKnowledge of product development processes and manufacturing fundamentals; prior experience with metal stamping, forging, machining (CNC), die casting, plastic injection molding, and MIM highly desirable\nExperience delivering products comprised of multiple materials with high aesthetic quality requirements \nStrong attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage complex design strategies \nAbility to manage complex build matrices and build planning through complex schedules \nExperience interfacing with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering and Design, Systems Engineering, Reliability, Operations, and Marketing \nSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities \nRemains flexible and calm in the face of rapid development cycles, uncertainty, and shifting priorities \nAbility to travel internationally to support builds.
