Summary

Job Summary:
Experienced Data Lead with 12+ years of expertise in Data Management, Data Governance, and Information Management within the Oil & Gas industry. Proven ability to lead global data initiatives, manage customer relationships, engage stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry data standards while leveraging SQL and Power BI for analytics and business insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end data management activities across engineering, operations, and capital projects.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, quality, validation, and master data management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with global data standards, client requirements, and organizational policies.
  • ct as the primary interface for customers, contractors, and key stakeholders on data-related initiatives.
  • Manage data collection, integration, cleansing, migration, and handover activities.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI and SQL.
  • Drive data quality improvement programs and monitor governance metrics.
  • Lead and mentor data analysts, data controllers, and project data teams.
  • Support digital transformation, automation, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely data delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Management.
  • Strong Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy sector experience.
  • Expertise in global data management standards, master data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, MS Access, data analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong customer management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience managing global teams and large-scale project data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in Data Management, Data Science, Power BI, SQL, MS Access, PMP, Azure, or Data Governance are advantageous.
