.NET Engineer  
Location: 100% Remote

Business Context
The team is accelerating its product roadmap with a focus on payment reconciliation and underpayment resolution ensuring providers are reimbursed accurately per contract terms.
The application supports:
  • Correct reimbursement rate determination
  • Health plan and region validation
  • Place of service identification
  • Payment routing and responsibility assignment
  • Contract adherence checks
  • Payment dispute resolution
 
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience building or supporting payment dispute, payment integrity, or claims reconciliation applications in healthcare.
  • Strong background in claims processing/administration.
  • Exposure to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare transactions (A35/A37) and payer organizations (e.g., Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield).
  • Claimsdriven, datadriven, and architecturefocused mindset.
 
Technical Environment
  • Microsoft-centric development stack
  • Fullstack role: 60% Backend / 40% Frontend
  • Core responsibilities:
    • Backend/API development
    • Data integration and analytics functionality
    • UI features supported by backend services
 
Cloud & DevOps
  • Dedicated cloud team in place, but engineers should understand:
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Code commits and deployment processes
    • Pipeline variables and environment management
  • AWS preferred (Azure acceptable if open to transition).
 
Data & Database Requirements
  • Snowflake is the primary analytics/data platform.
  • PostgreSQL experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Data modeling (normalized vs. denormalized structures)
    • Handling large claims datasets
    • Transforming raw claims data into consumable analytics datasets
    • Moving/transforming data between operational systems and Snowflake
 
Must-Haves
  • Healthcare/Payer industry experience
  • Claims processing or administration background
  • Payment reconciliation, disputes, or integrity solutions experience
  • Strong backend/API development skills
  • Data-driven architecture expertise
  • AWS (or willingness to transition from Azure)
  • Snowflake and SQL/data modeling exposure
 
Nice-to-Haves
  • Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience
  • Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield exposure
  • Healthcare transaction knowledge (A35/A37)
