IT Business Analyst – Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst – Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support complex supply chain and distribution initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in WMS business processes, enterprise system integrations, software implementations, and stakeholder management.

This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. The candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client organizations to drive successful implementations and system rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis initiatives within the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain, supporting supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and distribution operations.
• Analyze and document end-to-end business processes, workflows, requirements, and system interactions.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of integrations and data flows across CRM, Order Management, WMS, TMS, Procurement, and Financial Systems.
• Gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and actionable solutions.
• Identify business process gaps, system issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Analyze business and operational data to develop insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and rollout activities.
• Collaborate with Development, Configuration, QA, Integration, and Business Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate project status, and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Participate in solution design, system configuration, testing, and deployment activities to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, production readiness, and post-implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, functional specifications, and project-related documentation.
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and business outcomes are achieved.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, preferably within WMS, supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and warehouse operations.
• Proven experience with WMS implementations, upgrades, integrations, and rollouts.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system integrations and end-to-end data flows.
• Experience working across systems such as CRM, OMS, WMS, TMS, Procurement, and Financial Systems.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear and practical technology solutions.
• Experience supporting software implementation, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
