Summary

Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite required every Tuesday and Wednesday; no remote-only option).
Employment Type: Contract (1 year with possible extension).
Interview Mode: Mandatory In-person/Onsite interview in Lansing.
Requirements: Local candidates (within 70 miles) are strongly preferred. Non-local candidates must relocate at their own expense and be onsite from Day 1.

Core Responsibilities

Automation Leadership: Design and implement automation frameworks using Playwright (Python) and Pytest.
API & Performance Testing: Automate REST API testing via REST Assured and execute load tests using Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
Data Validation: Use complex SQL (joins, CTEs) to validate data integrity across multi-table enterprise systems.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines and manage test cases within Azure Test Plans.
Compliance & Accessibility: Perform security testing (PCI DSS, GDPR) and conduct accessibility evaluations using JAWS/NVDA in accordance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines.
Legacy Support: Maintain and enhance existing legacy scripts in UFT/VBScript as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

Tenure: 8+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Playwright, and Pytest is mandatory.
Database: Strong SQL skills for backend and data migration validation.
Tools: Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and Test Plans).
Agile: Demonstrated ability to lead QA activities within Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dynamics 365 functional testing.
Knowledge of Finance, public pension, or retirement systems.
Certifications in Python, SQL, or Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
