Location: Richmond, VA

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning: Define and own the overall QA strategy; develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
Test Execution: Lead functional, integration, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Defect Management: Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution in direct collaboration with development teams.
Governance: Establish QA standards, best practices, and test governance processes to ensure alignment between requirements and coverage.
Release Readiness: Provide risk-based testing recommendations and go/no-go input for critical software releases.
Collaboration: Coordinate QA activities across internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring all products meet acceptance criteria.

Required Experience & Skills

QA Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
Leadership: 2+ years specifically in a QA Lead or Test Lead role.
Methodologies: 3+ years of experience with SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall frameworks.
Tools: 3+ years of hands-on experience with industry-standard test management and defect tracking tools.
Automation: 2+ years of experience working with automated testing frameworks and tools.
UAT & Stakeholders: 3+ years leading User Acceptance Testing and interfacing with business stakeholders.
Specialized Domain: 2+ years of experience testing within Healthcare environments.
