Location: Chicago, Illinois (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking skilled data, analytics, and reporting audit professionals. You will join a data group audit working with a large, global bank. The focus will be on validating consent orders and implementing remediation efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards for data and reporting/analytics applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit data management systems, data processing solutions, and data consumption processes.
- Audit data processing code written in languages such as Python.
- Audit SQL statements used to process and transform data.
- Audit Database Management Systems (DBMS) and data management processes.
- Audit reporting and analytics solutions such as Alteryx.
- Audit access control and other data protection measures.
- Audit data lineage as it flows through the data processing, management, reporting, and analytic systems.
- Perform testing of bank-developed controls where necessary.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7 or more years in auditing data, data processing, and reporting/analytics systems. Must have experience as an internal auditor and possess global banking experience.
Technical Skills: Strong skills in data analytics with extensive SQL and Python experience are required. Must be a subject matter expert in data and reporting technologies used by the bank (e.g., Python, Alteryx, etc.). Technical skills are needed to validate code (e.g., Python, SQL).
Professional Skills: Strong communication and writing skills are necessary, particularly for creating audit documents that conform to established standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consent order/Issue Validation experience is preferred.
