Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in the Energy & Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise architecture, cloud-native solutions, and system integration, along with experience working on customer-facing applications and utility platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures for enterprise applications
• Architect solutions for customer-centric utility platforms including mobile and web applications
• Lead system integration strategies using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and best practices
• Provide technical leadership to development and engineering teams
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization across systems

Domain Expertise (Energy & Utilities):

• Customer onboarding and service request workflows
• Meter-to-cash lifecycle
• Billing, invoicing, and rate/tariff configuration
• Credit and collections processes
• Regulatory compliance and reporting
• Understanding of electricity, gas, or water utility operations

Technology & Integration:

• Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, ESB, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Expertise in API management, data integration, and event-driven systems

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years in Architecture roles
• Proven experience in Energy & Utilities domain
• Strong background in enterprise architecture and system integration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives
• TOGAF or equivalent certification
• Experience in large-scale utility modernization programs
