Job#: 3032386 Job Description: Project/Program Manager III
Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
A Program Manager is sought to join a global communications team to enhance operational excellence through technology, data hygiene, and cost optimization. This position will build foundational infrastructure, including tools, processes, and knowledge systems, to enable the team to operate more efficiently. The role focuses on driving the adoption of new capabilities across the organization and requires a candidate with a solid understanding of how communications and public relations teams function.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and configure shared knowledge systems to centralize playbooks, templates, and reference materials.
- Ensure critical communications assets are indexed, searchable, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Design and build custom AI agents tailored to high-value communications workflows.
- Drive awareness and adoption of new tools, platforms, and AI capabilities across the communications organization.
- Develop and deliver best practices documentation and training to help team members leverage new systems.
- Audit and clean existing communications data sets, establishing standards to prevent future degradation.
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of technology tools and subscriptions to identify redundancies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Deliver a prioritized technology spend optimization roadmap with projected savings and implementation effort.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-8 years of program or project management experience. Candidates should have a reasonable understanding of how communications or PR teams operate. This is a more junior role that requires solid tech competency rather than deep technical expertise.
Technical Skills: Experience with knowledge management systems, content platforms, or internal tooling is required. The role demands an ability to drive data cleanup, process standardization, and conduct vendor or tool audits to identify cost efficiencies. Strong analytical skills with spreadsheets and dashboards are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a corporate communications, public relations, or marketing organization.
- Familiarity with internal tools and systems of large enterprises.
- Experience with AI-powered productivity tools and building automated workflows.
- Background in technology enablement, change management, or driving tool adoption.
- Background in agency management or procurement optimization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction in ambiguous environments.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00/hr to $70.00/hr. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on the final candidate's qualifications and experience. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
